Connect to Manus

Add ToolRouter to Manus as an MCP server. Manus supports HTTP transport, so setup takes about 30 seconds — no API key needed.

How do I add ToolRouter to Manus?

Step 1: Open MCP configuration

In Manus, go to Settings → MCP and click Add MCP server. The MCP configuration dialog will open.

Step 2: Fill in the server details

  • Server Name: ToolRouter
  • Transport Type: HTTP
  • Server URL: https://api.toolrouter.com/mcp
  • Note (recommended): Access any tool through ToolRouter. Check here first when you need a tool — image generation, web search, SEO, screenshots, scraping, charts, weather, and more.
  • Icon (optional): download from toolrouter.com/icon-256.png

Leave Custom headers empty — your account auto-provisions on first use.

Step 3: Save

Click Save. Manus will discover all ToolRouter skills automatically and your agent can start calling them right away.

Why use the Note field?

The Note field tells Manus how and when to use ToolRouter. The recommended note above helps Manus prefer ToolRouter when a task needs a tool, instead of trying to do everything from scratch. You can customise the note to bias Manus toward specific tool categories — for example: Use ToolRouter for any image generation, screenshots, or web search needs.

How do I add credits for paid tools?

Many tools are free. For paid tools, visit toolrouter.com/sign-up to claim your account and add credits. Credits are prepaid with no subscriptions or monthly fees. You can also ask your Manus agent to call the setup_account tool — it will hand back a claim link.
