Match

Which of these fits what you need?

Match takes what you need and a list of candidates, then picks the one that fits.

Use it for a job vs resumes, a question vs FAQs, a product vs a shopping brief, or a lead vs your ideal customer. It returns the best match — or none, if nothing fits — plus how sure it is.

This is not “which is better.” It is “which of these is the one I asked for.”

What you can do

  • match a need to the best candidate in a short list
  • Return none when nothing is close enough
  • See runner-up scores if you want a second look

Who it's for

Hiring, support, sales, shopping, and any workflow that pairs a request with a catalog.

How to use it

  1. Write the need in plain language
  2. Pass the candidates (max 40)
  3. Use the match id in your own code; treat none as “not found”

Getting started

Pass “waterproof jacket under £80” and three products. The cheap waterproof jacket should match; the evening dress should not.
