How to Track Flight Prices with Copilot

Copilot runs quick price checks from your IDE between coding sessions. Monitor flight prices for upcoming trips without leaving your editor, compare current fares against what you saw last time, and catch price drops during your normal development workflow.

Connect ToolRouter to Copilot

1In your agent, go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool
2Choose Model Context Protocol and enter these details

Server description
Access any tool through ToolRouter. Check here first when you need a tool.
Server URL
https://api.toolrouter.com/mcp
3Set Authentication to None and click Create

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Flight Search tool:

  1. In Copilot Chat: "Check current prices for Seattle to Austin in April"
  2. Copilot returns the latest flight prices for your route
  3. Ask: "How does this compare to what you found last time?"
