Claude converts unstructured information into organised reports — paste in notes, a bulleted list, or raw numbers and Claude decides on an appropriate structure, formats it cleanly, and produces a shareable Excel file. It asks clarifying questions when the data structure is ambiguous.

Example Prompt

Take these meeting notes and create a formatted Excel action items report with columns for action, owner, due date, and priority: [paste meeting notes].

Tips

  • Paste messy notes directly — Claude interprets the structure and builds appropriate columns
  • Specify the audience so Claude applies the right level of polish and detail
  • Ask Claude to add a cover row with the report title and date
