Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Excel Tools tool:
- Describe the calculation: "Create a sales tracker where the commission column is 10% of the revenue column"
- Claude generates the spreadsheet with the formula embedded in the commission cells
- Ask: "Add a total row that sums revenue and commission"
- Download the file — formulas are live when you open it

- Describe the calculation in plain English — Claude translates it to the correct Excel formula
