- Ask ChatGPT to produce a contractor due diligence report summarising the key findings.
- File the report alongside the contract as a risk management record.
Example Prompt
Try this with ChatGPT using the Construction Manager tool
Use construction-manager to verify BuildRight Ltd (company number 12345678) for a £40,000 extension contract. Produce a one-page contractor due diligence report covering registration status, key directors, trading history, and an overall risk assessment.
Tips
- A filed due diligence report protects you if a dispute arises later — it shows you took reasonable steps.
- Include the date of the check in the report so it is clear when the verification was run.
- Ask ChatGPT to flag the top three risks based on the data rather than just presenting a neutral summary.
