ToolVoice GeneratorCopilot generates audiobook samples within your editor, which is useful for authors who write in markdown or plain text. Generate audio previews directly from manuscript files in your project, compare voice options side-by-side, and share samples without leaving your writing environment.
Connect ToolRouter to Copilot
1In your agent, go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool
2Choose Model Context Protocol and enter these details

Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Voice Generator tool:
- In Copilot Chat: "List voices from voice-generator suitable for audiobooks"
- Select a voice option from the list
- Ask: "Generate this chapter as an audiobook sample" and paste the text
- Download and share the sample
