Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Video Transcripts tool:

  1. Ask Claude: "Get the transcript from this YouTube video" and paste the video URL
  2. Claude runs get_youtube_transcript and returns the full text with timestamps
  3. Ask Claude to clean up the transcript, remove filler words, and format as paragraphs
  4. Use the transcript for blog posts, summaries, or further analysis
