  1. Ask Claude: "Crawl mysite.com and find all pages missing title tags or meta descriptions"
  2. Claude lists every page with missing metadata, grouped by type of missing tag
  3. Ask: "Which of these pages are most important to fix first?"
  4. Claude prioritizes by traffic potential and suggests metadata for each page

Example Prompt

Try this with Claude using the Site Crawler tool
Crawl mysite.com and find every page missing a title tag or meta description. Suggest metadata for the top 10 most important ones.

Tips

  • Ask Claude to generate meta descriptions for all missing pages in one pass
  • Claude can identify patterns -- like all blog posts published in Q4 missing descriptions
  • Run after CMS migrations to catch metadata that did not transfer properly
