OpenClaw provides hands-off AI indexing monitoring by running scheduled crawler access checks across all your domains. Configure it to test every major AI bot on a recurring cadence, compare results against the previous run, and send alerts whenever a crawler loses access to your content.

Connect ToolRouter to OpenClaw

1Install the CLI
npm install -g toolrouter-mcp
2Call tools directly from OpenClaw
toolrouter-mcp call web-search search --query "AI tools"
toolrouter-mcp tools

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the GEO tool:

  1. Ask OpenClaw: "Check AI crawler access for my site"
  2. OpenClaw reports status for each AI crawler
  3. Compare with previous results
  4. Fix any newly blocked crawlers

Example Prompt

Try this with OpenClaw using the GEO tool
Run a routine check on AI crawler access for https://mysite.com. Confirm all major AI bots can still crawl our content.

Tips

  • Monthly checks are a good minimum frequency for most sites
  • Document each check result for trend analysis
  • Investigate immediately if any previously-allowed crawler becomes blocked
