Copilot creates animated thumbnails within your IDE, making it easy to generate motion previews for app store listings, README demos, and documentation screenshots. Copilot can also produce the HTML embed code alongside the animation, streamlining the entire process from asset creation to page integration.

Connect ToolRouter to Copilot

1In your agent, go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool
2Choose Model Context Protocol and enter these details

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Generate Video tool:

  1. In Copilot Chat: "Turn this screenshot into an animated preview"
  2. Copilot animates the image via ToolRouter
  3. Adjust: "Add a slow pan from left to right"
  4. Save the animated thumbnail to your project assets
