Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Generate Video tool:
- Provide your image: "Turn this product photo into an animated thumbnail with a subtle zoom effect"
- Claude animates it using image_to_video
- Adjust the motion: "Make the movement slower and add a slight parallax effect"
- Generate animated thumbnails for your entire content library
Example Prompt
Try this with Claude using the Generate Video tool
Take this blog hero image and create an animated thumbnail with a smooth parallax effect. The foreground should move slightly faster than the background. 3-second loop.
Tips
- Subtle animations perform better than dramatic ones — less is more
- Ask for seamless loops so the animation restarts without a visible cut
- Generate different animation styles (zoom, pan, parallax) to test which gets more clicks
