Finance Data

OpenClaw tracks the interest rate environment automatically. Schedule daily yield curve snapshots, monitor Fed funds rate changes, and alert on significant rate moves — maintaining a running record of the rate environment without manual data collection.

Connect ToolRouter to OpenClaw

1Install the CLI
npm install -g toolrouter-mcp
2Call tools directly from OpenClaw
toolrouter-mcp call web-search search --query "AI tools"
toolrouter-mcp tools

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Finance Data tool:

  1. Ask: "Get current Treasury yields and the Fed funds rate"
  2. OpenClaw returns the full rate picture
  3. Ask: "Has the 10-year yield changed significantly in the last week?"

Example Prompt

Try this with OpenClaw using the Finance Data tool
Pull current Treasury yields across all maturities and the Fed funds rate. Flag any yield that has moved more than 10 basis points in the last week.

Tips

  • Track the 2y-10y spread daily to monitor inversion trends
  • Log yield snapshots to build a historical rate environment record
  • Set alerts for Fed funds rate changes — they drive immediate repricing across asset classes
