How to Monitor Interest Rates with Copilot
Monitor interest rates with Copilot and ToolRouter. Pull structured Treasury and benchmark rate data for financial models.
ToolFinance DataCopilot retrieves Treasury yields and benchmark rates as structured data ready for use in financial models, valuation tools, or dashboard applications. Pull the full yield curve with precise values and timestamps, and generate discount rate inputs for DCF models without manual data entry.

Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Finance Data tool:
- In Copilot Chat: "Fetch Treasury yields for 2, 5, 10, and 30-year maturities"
- Copilot returns structured yield data with timestamps
- Ask: "Format this as a yield curve data structure for my charting component"
Example Prompt
Try this with Copilot using the Finance Data tool
Fetch current Treasury yields across the full curve and the Fed funds rate. Return as structured JSON for use as discount rate inputs in my DCF model.
Tips
- Use the 10-year Treasury yield as the risk-free rate input in your DCF calculations
- Ask for historical yield data to build yield curve visualisations with time-series depth
- Copilot can generate interpolation logic for maturities not directly available in the data
