Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the DNS Domain tool:

  1. Ask Claude: "Check the SSL certificate for example.com using dns-domain"
  2. Claude runs check_ssl and returns certificate details including expiry and chain status
  3. Address any issues before they cause outages

Tips

  • Check certificates at least monthly to catch upcoming expirations
