ChatGPT makes captioning conversational by combining transcription with editorial review in one chat. Preview the transcript, correct industry-specific terminology through natural dialogue, and choose caption styling before burning them in. ChatGPT can also produce translated subtitles in multiple languages from the same source transcript.

Connect ToolRouter to ChatGPT

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Video Editor tool:

  1. Ask: "Transcribe this video and add captions"
  2. ChatGPT transcribes the audio and presents the text for review
  3. Approve or edit: "Fix the company name spelling and add the captions to the video"
  4. Request specific styling for the burned-in captions
