Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Satellite Imagery tool:
- Provide the site address and the report or proposal it is for.
- Run `capture_dated` or `earth_photo` via satellite-imagery.
- Ask ChatGPT to write a site description based on the image for inclusion in the report.
- Package the image and description as the site context section.
Example Prompt
Try this with ChatGPT using the Satellite Imagery tool
Use satellite-imagery to capture a current image of this development site at the coordinates 52.5, -1.9 for an investor proposal. Write a 150-word site description covering location, access, surrounding uses, and site size based on what is visible.
Tips
- Keep the written description factual and grounded in what is visible — planning and investor documents should not overstate site characteristics.
- Pair the satellite image with a map extract showing regional context for investor documents.
- A site description written from the satellite image ensures the text matches the visual rather than being prepared separately.
