Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Playlist Art Maker tool:
- Describe the track — title, genre, what it is about lyrically, the emotional core, and any visual references the song evokes for you.
- Run playlist-art-maker with visualize_track and the song description.
- Ask Claude whether the visual captures the song's emotional identity or just its genre category.
- Iterate on the visual concept until the cover feels like it belongs to this specific song, not just this genre.
Example Prompt
Try this with Claude using the Playlist Art Maker tool
Use playlist-art-maker to create cover art for my track 'Glass House' — indie pop, lyrics about vulnerability and being seen clearly by someone for the first time. Fragile, transparent, light refracting through glass, warm tones, intimate. Does this image feel like it belongs to this song specifically?
Tips
- Describe the song's core emotion rather than its genre — 'fragile and hopeful' produces more specific art than 'indie pop'.
- Ask Claude whether the cover would make a Spotify listener want to hear the song without knowing anything else about it.
- Check the cover at 64x64 — at that size, the visual concept needs to still communicate the song's feel.
