Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the IP Geolocation tool:

Ask Claude: "Look up who owns this IP address using ip-geolocation" and provide the IP
Claude returns the ISP, organization, ASN, and location
Ask: "Is this a residential ISP, cloud provider, or corporate network?"
Use the ownership data for your research or security investigation

Tips

ASN data helps identify the network operator even when organization names are generic
