Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the IP Geolocation tool:

  1. Ask Claude: "Look up the location of this IP address using ip-geolocation" and provide the IP
  2. Claude returns country, city, ISP, and coordinates
  3. Ask Claude to summarize the geographic distribution of a list of IPs
  4. Use the results to inform your geo-targeting strategy

Tips

  • Use bulk_lookup for processing large lists of IPs efficiently
  • Combine with web analytics exports to map your traffic geographically
  • IP geolocation is accurate to the city level for most residential IPs
