ToolVideo EditorCopilot adds transition effects within your IDE, making it easy to polish tutorial recordings and demo videos. Simple crossfades and fade-in/out effects can be applied quickly through chat without switching to dedicated video editing software.
Connect ToolRouter to Copilot
1In your agent, go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool
2Choose Model Context Protocol and enter these details

Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Video Editor tool:
- In Copilot Chat: "Add crossfade transitions between each section of my tutorial video"
- Copilot applies the transitions via ToolRouter
- Customize: "Make the transitions faster — 0.3 seconds each"
- Render the video with finalize_video
