OpenClaw handles tattoo design generation at volume — building a studio's reference library, generating a portfolio of style samples across categories, or producing concept variations across a thematic series.

Connect ToolRouter to OpenClaw

1Install the CLI
npm install -g toolrouter-mcp
2Call tools directly from OpenClaw
toolrouter-mcp call web-search search --query "AI tools"
toolrouter-mcp tools

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Tattoo Designer tool:

  1. Define the design categories, styles, and naming conventions for the library.
  2. Run design_tattoo across all concepts with style parameters locked per category.
  3. Review samples from each style category for quality and consistency.
  4. Export the reference library organized by style and subject matter.

Example Prompt

Try this with OpenClaw using the Tattoo Designer tool
Use tattoo-designer to build a concept reference library for our studio: 5 fine line botanical designs, 5 bold traditional American designs, 5 geometric blackwork designs, 5 Japanese traditional designs. Name each by style and subject for the portfolio catalog.

Tips

  • Organize the library by style first, then subject — clients typically choose a style before a subject.
  • Include a range of subjects within each style — animals, florals, geometric, cultural symbols — to cover consultation needs.
  • Review samples from each style with the studio's tattoo artists before finalizing the library — accuracy to style conventions matters.
