Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Stock Market tool:
- Tell Claude your holdings: "I own 100 AAPL, 50 MSFT, 200 NVDA -- get the current value"
- Claude fetches quotes for each ticker and calculates your portfolio value
- Ask: "Which position had the biggest daily gain?"
- Request a breakdown by sector allocation

Try this with Claude using the Stock Market tool
Track my portfolio: 150 shares AAPL at $175 cost basis, 80 shares MSFT at $380, 50 shares GOOGL at $165. Show current value, daily change, and total gain/loss.
Tips
- Include your cost basis and Claude will calculate unrealized gains
- Ask for percentage allocation to see if your portfolio is balanced
- Run this check daily to build a performance log over time
