Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Sketch to Render tool:

  1. Provide the product sketch and the target market and positioning for the product.
  2. Run `render` via sketch-to-render to generate the photorealistic product visual.
  3. Ask ChatGPT to write a concept description and material rationale for the deck.
  4. Package the render and copy into the pitch slide or client document.

Example Prompt

Try this with ChatGPT using the Sketch to Render tool
Use sketch-to-render to render this ergonomic desk lamp sketch in a premium matte white with warm brass accents. Return the render and write a two-sentence concept description and a three-bullet material rationale I can use in the client presentation deck.

Tips

  • Write the material rationale around the design intent — why this material, not just what it is — for a more convincing presentation.
  • A product render plus written concept copy in the same session cuts presentation prep time significantly.
  • Ask ChatGPT to tailor the tone to the audience — investor pitch, retail buyer meeting, or design review — so the copy lands correctly.
