Copilot is useful when the architectural render needs to integrate into a formal development document — planning submission, land appraisal, or investment memorandum. Generate the visual and update the document in one step.

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Sketch to Render tool:

  1. Provide the architectural sketch, the development context, and the document it needs to go into.
  2. Run `render` via sketch-to-render to generate the building render.
  3. Ask Copilot to embed the render into the relevant section of the development document.
  4. Output the updated document for review or submission.

Example Prompt

Try this with Copilot using the Sketch to Render tool
Use sketch-to-render to render the proposed apartment block sketch and embed it in the development investment memorandum with a brief design description and a note on the planning strategy.

Tips

  • Place the render alongside the site plan so investors can understand the relationship between the building and the plot.
  • A brief planning strategy note alongside the render tells investors you have considered deliverability, not just aesthetics.
  • Keep the design description factual for planning documents and more aspirational for investor-facing materials.
