Search across marketplaces to find a specific pressing or edition currently listed for sale and compare prices. Use `market_search`, `marketplace_listings`, and `price_guide` to cover the ground. Copilot works best when you want the listing data in a structured format for tracking, price alerts, or integration with a want list system.

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Record Collector tool:

  1. Specify the pressing: artist, title, label, catalog number, country, year, and your condition and price criteria.
  2. Run `market_search`, `marketplace_listings`, and `price_guide` through `record-collector` to find and benchmark available copies.
  3. Ask Copilot to output the listings as structured JSON or CSV with normalized fields for price, condition, seller, and source.
  4. Import the data into your want list tracker or set up a comparison dashboard for ongoing monitoring.

Example Prompt

Try this with Copilot using the Record Collector tool
Use record-collector to find an original UK pressing of Radiohead's OK Computer, Parlophone NODATA 02. Run market_search, marketplace_listings, and price_guide. Return structured JSON with each listing's price, condition, seller, and source marketplace.

Tips

  • Normalize the output fields so you can compare listings across different marketplaces on equal terms.
  • Ask Copilot to flag listings where the price is significantly above or below the price guide range.
