Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Nutrition Data tool:

  1. Ask Claude: "Calculate the total calories for this meal: 200g chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice, 1 cup steamed broccoli. Use nutrition-data for each ingredient."
  2. Claude looks up each ingredient and calculates the totals
  3. Ask: "What are the total macros -- protein, fat, and carbs?"
  4. Use the breakdown for your nutrition tracking
