Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Finance Data tool:
- Ask Claude: "What is the current GBP/USD exchange rate?"
- Claude returns the live rate with recent change
- Ask: "How has GBP/USD moved over the past month?"
- Ask: "Convert £50,000 to USD at the current rate"

Tips
- Ask for the bid/ask spread alongside the mid-rate to understand the cost of converting at market
- Compare multiple pairs at once to spot relative strength across currencies
- Ask for the rate at a specific past date if you need to reconcile a historical transaction
