ChatGPT generates mind maps while actively contributing ideas to the structure. It brainstorms additional branches, suggests connections between concepts, and can restructure the hierarchy based on your feedback. The mind map becomes a collaborative thinking tool rather than just a visualization of what you already knew.
Connect ToolRouter to ChatGPT
1Go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and enable Developer mode

Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Diagram Generator tool:
- Ask: "Generate a mind map for this topic" and describe the central theme and branches
- ChatGPT creates the mind map with balanced visual hierarchy
- Request: "Add more detail to the marketing branch"

Try this with ChatGPT using the Diagram Generator tool
Create a mind map for "Web Application Security" covering authentication, authorization, input validation, encryption, and monitoring. Add 3-4 subtopics under each.

- ChatGPT can brainstorm additional branches you might not have considered
- Ask for the mind map content as a structured outline too for easy reference
