OpenClaw handles photo-to-cartoon conversion at batch scale — processing an entire team's headshots, a conference speaker roster, or a yearbook's worth of portraits with consistent style across all of them.

Connect ToolRouter to OpenClaw

1Install the CLI
npm install -g toolrouter-mcp
2Call tools directly from OpenClaw
toolrouter-mcp call web-search search --query "AI tools"
toolrouter-mcp tools

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Cartoon Maker tool:

  1. Define the full photo set, the target cartoon style, and the naming convention.
  2. Run photo_to_cartoon across all photos with locked style parameters.
  3. Review a sample of ten portraits for consistency before approving the full batch.
  4. Export the complete cartoon set with original filenames or a defined naming scheme.

Example Prompt

Try this with OpenClaw using the Cartoon Maker tool
Use cartoon-maker to convert all 60 speaker headshots from our conference into a consistent anime illustration style for the event app. Keep the original speaker names as filenames, consistent warm color palette across all.

Tips

  • Test the style on a diverse subset before batching — varied facial features and hair types may produce different results.
  • Lock the color palette before running the batch so all portraits share the same visual warmth.
  • Flag portraits that look noticeably different from the rest for manual review rather than reviewing all 60.
