OpenClaw processes NASA data queries as automated pipeline operations, returning structured imagery metadata, ISS position telemetry, and asteroid approach data ready for ingestion into monitoring dashboards, educational platforms, or content automation systems. It handles scheduled data pulls and batch processing efficiently, making it ideal for organizations that need continuous space data feeds -- whether for daily social media content, classroom displays, or near-Earth object tracking infrastructure.

Connect ToolRouter to OpenClaw

1Install the CLI
npm install -g toolrouter-mcp
2Call tools directly from OpenClaw
toolrouter-mcp call web-search search --query "AI tools"
toolrouter-mcp tools

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Space Data tool:

  1. Ask OpenClaw: "Show NASA launch imagery and the current ISS position"
  2. OpenClaw returns mission imagery and station location
  3. Ask about upcoming launches and current crew
  4. Follow missions from launch through station operations

Example Prompt

Try this with OpenClaw using the Space Data tool
Get recent NASA launch photos and tell me where the ISS is right now. What mission just arrived at the station?

Tips

  • Follow a complete mission arc from launch imagery to ISS docking to crew activities
  • Use launch imagery for engaging space content on social media
  • Combine ISS tracking with launch timing for a real-time mission experience
