Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the Outfit Stylist tool:

  1. Upload the fashion photo and describe the analysis context — trend research, wardrobe cataloguing, or shopping recreation.
  2. Run `extract_outfit` through `outfit-stylist` to generate the component breakdown.
  3. Ask Claude to go beyond the list — which pieces are doing the most styling work, what is the overall colour story, and which item would be easiest to substitute?
  4. Export the analysis as a structured reference for the wardrobe archive or trend report.

Example Prompt

Try this with Claude using the Outfit Stylist tool
Use outfit-stylist to extract every garment and accessory from this street style photo. List each piece with type, colour, and any visible brand or fabric details. Then tell me which 2 pieces are carrying the look and suggest what category of shopper this outfit is targeting.

Tips

  • High-resolution photos with good lighting produce more accurate garment detail extraction.
  • Ask Claude to flag items that are ambiguous — a garment could be a cropped jacket or a long top depending on the angle.
  • For trend research, run the same extraction across 20+ photos and ask Claude to identify repeating pieces or styling patterns.
