Query manufacturers by category, extract structured capability and certification data, and integrate it into your qualification pipeline.
Connect ToolRouter to Copilot
1In your agent, go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool
2Choose Model Context Protocol and enter these details

Steps
Once connected (see setup above), use the Manufacturer Finder tool:
- Ask: "Use manufacturer-finder to find manufacturers of PCB assemblies in Japan"
- Copilot returns manufacturer profile data
- Ask: "Return as JSON with name, country, capabilities, certifications, moq, and contact"
- Wire the data into your supplier qualification or vendor management system

Tips
- Store certifications as an array to enable compliance filtering by specific standards
- Include a capabilities array so your procurement tool can match suppliers to specific product requirements
- Add a qualification_status field initialized to "pending" so your team can track the vetting process
