Connect ToolRouter to OpenClaw

1Install the CLI
npm install -g toolrouter-mcp
2Call tools directly from OpenClaw
toolrouter-mcp call web-search search --query "AI tools"
toolrouter-mcp tools

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the LinkedIn Post tool:

  1. Queue a list of article URLs with optional angle notes for each
  2. Set the publishing schedule
  3. OpenClaw generates commentary for each article and publishes on schedule
  4. Review engagement metrics after each post to refine the commentary angle for future shares

Example Prompt

Try this with OpenClaw using the LinkedIn Post tool
I have 10 articles queued to share over the next two weeks. For each, generate LinkedIn commentary from the perspective of an industry consultant and publish them at 8am on weekdays. Here are the URLs and my rough angle for each [list].

Tips

  • Build a content queue in Notion or Airtable so the team can add articles for OpenClaw to process
  • Vary the commentary angle across the week — agree, disagree, add context, ask a question
  • Track which article topics generate the most comments to inform your future reading and sharing
