ChatGPT presents CDN verification results with clear strategic context. It maps your edge nodes geographically, highlights coverage gaps relative to your audience, explains the performance implications of missing regions, and generates a recommendation summary for your infrastructure team or CDN provider evaluation.

Connect ToolRouter to ChatGPT

1Go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and enable Developer mode
2Click Create app and enter these details

Steps

Once connected (see setup above), use the IP Geolocation tool:

  1. Ask: "Bulk look up these CDN IPs and show me their geographic distribution"
  2. ChatGPT resolves all IPs and maps them to regions
  3. Request: "Are there any gaps in coverage for the Asia-Pacific market?"
  4. Use the analysis for CDN optimization decisions

Example Prompt

Try this with ChatGPT using the IP Geolocation tool
Look up the locations of these CDN edge node IPs. Show me a regional breakdown and identify any continents without coverage.

Tips

  • ChatGPT can compare CDN coverage against your traffic patterns
  • Ask for latency estimates based on user location vs nearest edge
  • Useful during CDN provider evaluations and migrations
