ChatGPT structures conflict research into coherent, well-formatted briefs — executive summaries, stakeholder maps, chronological timelines, and sectoral risk assessments. It is well suited to producing the kind of structured output that executives, journalists, and policy professionals can act on immediately.

  4. Ask: "Write an executive briefing on stability risks in the region for a business audience"

Example Prompt

Try this with ChatGPT using the Geopolitics tool
Search geopolitical events for the South China Sea and get context using geopolitics. Write an executive briefing covering territorial disputes, key actors, recent incidents, and implications for maritime trade routes.

Tips

  • Ask for a stakeholder map identifying each key actor and their primary interests
  • Request a scenario analysis: "What are the three most likely trajectories in the next 12 months?"
  • Ask ChatGPT to flag which elements of the brief are most uncertain or contested
